How to solve the problem that the edges of floor mats are prone to curling and warping?
You can use floor mat-specific fixing tools such as double-sided tape, anti-slip fixing stickers, or wide tape. Stick them on the parts where the floor mat attaches to the ground to increase adhesion and reduce curling and warping at the edges. When choosing, it is necessary to select products that leave no adhesive residue to avoid damaging the ground.
Check the flatness of the floor mat. If there are debris on the ground, the ground is uneven, or the floor mat is curled, you can clean up the debris and flatten the ground and the floor mat. If the floor mat is too large and its edges are deformed due to long-term pressure, you can cut off the excess part to make the edges fit the ground.
Replace the floor mat with a more durable edge craft. Choose styles with edge wrapping or edge locking treatment, as their edges are less likely to curl. This is because the edges of floor mats with such crafts are more rigid.
If there is mild curling at the edges, place heavy objects (such as books, sandbags) on the curled edges and leave them for a period of time to straighten the edges again. Usually, do not pile things on the edges to prevent long-term stress and deformation of the edges.
If the floor mat is old and hard, with four warped corners that cannot be corrected and keep curling repeatedly, it is recommended to replace it with a new one in time to prevent tripping.
